Yes, I've tried that, but it is rather sad to always play rural and flat maps. Still, you have to run from cover to cover with your inf platoons. The groups of trees are rarely more than 100x30m, which in not enough to provide cover and concealment for a platoon. You are never able to maneuver in the tree covered areas. I always try to move in a straight line in the middle of the trees to avoid getting spotted, which I feel is rather silly.
An example. I would like to play maps where, for example, the eastern part is a "forest" (no vehicles allowed ), a village or some houses in the western/middle part of the map and the rest of the map have groups of trees here and there. It would give you some options with your inf.
