wargamermarkus
hi, thank you for the great scww1 dear developers! what means the script errors when i want save my editor changes? was the click on update right? and what can i change with the de-moralization value, e.g. from 0 to 20 %? markus
Hubert Cater
Welcome aboard The 'possible' script errors just means that there *might* be some problems with the scripts depending on just how many changes you implemented. At that point you have 2 main options, to ignore the scripts and save the game without game scripts (not really recommended but certainly an option) or to load the applicable script lists and update the scripts that require resaving. Those that require updating should be denoted with an asterik, i.e. an '*' next to their name. If you highlight the script category with an asterik and then click on Update it will try to resave the scripts and tell you if you need to make any changes to the scripts. For the demoralization value, if we are talking about the combat target stats, this just tells you how much morale a defending unit will suffer from combat when attacked by the unit listed in the combat target table. For example if the Tank de-moralization value is set to 15%, then any unit attacked by this tank will lose 15% morale. I hope this helps, Hubert
wargamermarkus
thank you hubert...i miss the engineers, they available later in the game and do u plan a addon for scww1 like the gold extension for scww2? markus
Hubert Cater
While the engineers do not make an appearance in the WWI campaigns they could always be activated as desired via a customized version of the campaign through the Editor if you prefer. They are also of course available in the bonus WWII campaign we've included in the last patch. For add-ons, nothing official just yet but we might have something that will please quite a few WWI fans when the time is right
wargamermarkus
but the whole world is never a topic for you/for fury software or do u know persons, that have a ww1 "whole world map" created?
Hubert Cater
A whole world WWI idea comes up from time to time but to be honest it would be a very lengthy project and it is just not on our radar at the moment. But of course that is not to say that we won't necessarily have other WWI surprises for everyone down the road
wargamermarkus
the ww1 melody is very good, better than the global conflict melody. eiffel software have said, that there's no limitation of nations figure with 65, is that simply a decision of fury software? markus
Hubert Cater
The 65 country cap was just a design decision as that was all we needed at the time.
wargamermarkus
ah ok, therefore u can add later cuba or saudi arabia in global conflict? only 5 more countries and the world is complete
