GerryCMBB
Hello: On defense and I have a mixture of mines outside my setup zone. I thought stuff outside the setup zone could be moved anywhere? But I cannot move the mines. Also the mines are marked with red signs stuck into the ground. Is that there just as a reminder for me or can he see this too (say Amis were through a few days ago and marked it, they would still know where they were when they try to retake the area)? Thanks, Gerry
JonS
On defense and I have a mixture of mines outside my setup zone. I thought stuff outside the setup zone could be moved anywhere? But I cannot move the mines. Nope. TRPs are the only things which can be moved if they start outside a SUZ. Also the mines are marked with red signs stuck into the ground. Is that there just as a reminder for me or can he see this too (say Amis were through a few days ago and marked it, they would still know where they were when they try to retake the area)? Nope. If they're your mines, initially you're the only one that can see them. Although ... it's possible that his briefing might tell your opponent where they are, or the pre-battle intel setting might give away their location. But in the 3D environment, you'll be the only one who can see the red signs until he does a bit of Irish minesweeping.
