Khmer
If anyone could help it'd be much appreciated. I got a new computer a couple days ago, its a Quicksilver Mac G4 933mhz with the aformentioned graphics card. My install of CM has the latest mac patch. I can load the game fine. I get the music, the intro screen and all, I can even load a game file but the program barfs on the "Loading 3d Graphics" page and just hangs. I've tried this in classic and also in 9.2.2. I know Big TIme says there are some issues with anything past 9.1 but is there any way to play this short of reloading a third OS onto a partition and dual booting all the time. :-(
Pzman
If you are using classic or OSX CM will not work, at all, or very well. You may have to install OS 9.2.2 on another partition. I am having no problems with OS 9.2.2 (which I have been using for 4-5 months) and CM so, I don't think that's the problem.
Khmer
Thanks, I guess I'll try that. Dual-Booting is such a bitch but CM is worth it!
tar
IIRC the problem is the Classic RAVE extension that OSX puts into the 9.2.2 environment for running Classic programs. You will need a 9.2.2 setup that does not have that extension installed. (Each time Classic starts up under OS X, it will reinstall it) You may be able to get away without a second partition by using the extensions manager. I forget offhand what key combination you use to get it to launch on boot. (You can reboot into OS 9 by holding down the option key during the boot sequence).
