warrenpeace Posted June 2, 2011 Share Posted June 2, 2011 I had a strange instance where I target a anti-tank gun with off map 81 mM mortar that was under control of a platoon HQ. When the fire finally arrived it was several hundred yards off target. The HQ or its superior HQ did not move and were not targeted, so I don't think it was a C2 problem. The only thing that might have happened was the AT icon went from being identified to only a ?. If one loses target ID after ordering indirect fire, will the fire just proceed wildly?
