Dirtweasle
Hi, Does anyone here have technical know-how on how add TCP port 7023 to the routers forwarding table and match port 7023 to the internal IP address with a Cisco 678? I have been unable to decipher Cisco's tech. paper on this and understand that in order to host a game I need to do this somehow. Cisco tech documents seem to require some underlying knowledge that I have been unable to figure out. Thanks in advance!
Schrullenhaft
I'm not really familiar with the Cisco Router/Brouters and their OS (CBOS). Here's a page for performing port forwarding on a Cisco 675, which should hopefully be similar enough to the OS on the 678. If you don't know how to log into your router, then you'll probably need to contact your ISP whom you're leasing (I assume) the router from. They may be a bit hesitant to give you this info since they probably prefer to configure the routers themselves and leave them universally the same. Dirtweasle
In case anyone ever does a search and finds this, the above is indeed the correct command string.
