Holman Posted May 22, 2011 Share Posted May 22, 2011 Something I didn't know was modeled: a mortar set up too close to a house will not be able to fire in the direction of the house (i.e. at targets beyond it) because even high-trajectory shots will be blocked by the wall. This means that an entire hemisphere of the mortar's potential range will be blocked. This makes perfect real-world sense, of course, but I just assumed that it would be abstracted away (as in CMx1).
