poymando Posted December 30, 2004 Share Posted December 30, 2004 Hi all, I just noticed a new, previously unseen problem on both CMAK and CMBB both. Never had this happen before..The text on the game is "highlighted" white so that I can no longer read the text. Any ideas as to what might be happening? I'm running an ATI 9600 vid card. Schrullenhaft Posted December 30, 2004 Share Posted December 30, 2004 This is a known problem with a known fix that requires replacing the standard text bitmaps in the game with a set that is colored differently. ATI Radeon Text Issue (5th problem). Radeon Text Fix download (listed in the above URL). Another thing you may want to do is download and install the Rage3D Tweaker v. 3.9c and turn off "Z Mask acceleration" in Direct3D (I'm not sure if it is labelled as 'acceleration' or not). This can help with some performance issues in CM (though I also cannot recall if later drivers have reduced the need to change this setting). 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
