Dominique
I've recently transfered CM to a Toshiba Satellite laptop (P3 1.1 MHz - 256 Mb of RAM - Windows XP) CM seems not to like very much the new machine. The touchpad refuses to select anything on the scenarios second page (it does the job all right on the first and the third, go figure  ). I've a problem in selecting parameters for customized missions as well : I can't underline anything but the default values. any clue ? D. Schrullenhaft
What touchpad drivers are you using ? Are these Toshiba specific drivers that have been updated for XP and/or 2000 ? Is the driver a generic Windows XP supplied driver ? Are there any touchpad utilies loaded up in the system ? Are you using any custom pointers or non-standard mouse settings ('jump to', etc.) ? On Toshiba's website I see a TouchPad driver for Windows XP v. 5.3.201.8-RC3 dated March 14, 2002. Perhaps this may help with the problem (which is very strange) ? The following link probably isn't to your specific laptop, but I believe that the TouchPad driver should work (otherwise just search for your particular laptop on their site): (of course this URL came out weird and won't work with UBB): http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_modItemList.jsp?ProductMenu_0=Portables&ProductMenu_1=Satellite&ProductMenu_2=148318&BV_SessionID=@@@@0664966858.1017687453@@@ @&BV_EngineID=dcadcdjglgmmmbffkcghcfmgdgll.0&ListType=Model&moid=148318&smoid=true&ct=DL&x=16&y=7 [ April 01, 2002, 05:42 PM: Message edited by: Schrullenhaft ]
Dominique
Thanks weird it is ... I use the TP driver which came with the laptop I bought fifteen days ago and the touchpad icon is in the bottomright tray.
