shackman
i cannot get cmbo to let me choose a screen resolution > 640x480. to the best of my understanding, i have done everything the trouble shooting guide and tech support people have suggested. configuration: windows 2k pro directx 8.1 latest ATI Rage 128 Mobile 3 video drivers cmbo v1.12 i would like this to work in 1024x768 resolution. i am running this on a 21" monitor and it's much too coarse in 640x480 mode. may i suggest a command line switch to specify the resolution i want?
Schrullenhaft
CMBO is officially considered a 'finished product' and is not slated for any more updates/patches. Does your video card pass the DirectX DirectDraw and Direct3D tests in the DirectX Diagnostic utility ? You may need to completely uninstall your video driver (including some manual deletions of files), reinstall DirectX 8.1 and then install the version of the driver you want to use. It sounds like you're running on a laptop. Have you tried running CMBO strictly on the LCD display with the external monitor disconnected ? Some laptops can drive two simultaneous displays, but it may cause problems with running 3D programs on the external (or internal) display. I don't know if the Display control panel gives you much info in regards to this.
