lettowvorbeck
How much variability is built into the timing of Italy's entry (assuming the CP player refuses the italian land grab proposal)? In the AAR, I was sort of surprised to see Italy come in at the historical time (give or take) given that France was teetering and Russia was pretty inoffensive. Bill101
Players decisions play a big role in Italy's war entry, so sometimes it will come in at the historical time, sometimes a bit later, sometimes perhaps a bit sooner, and sometimes not at all. The latter might sound a little surprising but all will be revealed during your first game as the Central Powers.
lettowvorbeck
Bill, Speaking of that, does the CP player get a real warning that Italy's entry is imminent or is it designed to be a complete surprise? Thanks!
Bill101
They'll know alright, or they'll only have themselves to blame!
