My processor is a bit slower (2.4 GHz), but I do have more memory (4GB -- I'd recommend making this upgrade, btw; it's a pretty inexpensive way to speed up your machine, and the installation is very easy). Anyway, based on what Steve and Mark have been saying about how the game is running on their Macs, i think we'll be fine. We'll probably need to dial back the level of detail a bit on larger, more complex maps. But unless you are the kind of guy who simply must run the game at maximum level of detail, and have 30+ frames/sec. at all times, I my SWAG is that the game will be perfectly playable for you (and me).
