nikappy Posted January 21, 2011 Share Posted January 21, 2011 I have been unable to launch "1939 World in Flames" and "BF1939", both of which are "RAR" (:confused:) file types. Neither of the scenarios appear in the Strategic Command launch queue and when I try to open by clicking directly on the icon I get an error message that reads "Could not find Bitmaps\activation_sprites.bmp. I have been successful with launching "Calm Before" and "Advanced Third Reich", but these are different file types. I am missing something and hope someone help. patrat618 Posted January 21, 2011 Share Posted January 21, 2011 this might be a stupid question, but did you extract both the folder and the CGN file from the RAR before placing them in the games campaigns folder? if not, go get winrar here http://download.cnet.com/1770-20_4-0.html?query=winrar&platformSelect=Windows&tag=srch%3Ba&searchtype=downloads&filterName=platform%3DWindows&filter=platform%3DWindows its free and use it to extract the folder and file from the rar. my apologies if you already know this.
