jpk Posted June 26, 2004 Share Posted June 26, 2004 I've got a thinkpad with Windows XP and NeoMagic MagicGraph256ZX . Whenever I play the game, all the graphics are discolored/distorted with a pink tint(white=pink). Also mouse will freeze after the first menu or two, and I have to ALT-Tab to get it unfroze. Schrullenhaft Posted June 26, 2004 Share Posted June 26, 2004 I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the NeoMagic video chipsets aren't fully compatible with the CM series. They typically lack VRAM (2-4Mb was the max) and their 3D capability was extremely limited to non-existant. The drivers that come with WinXP are probably the latest/last version available. Which title are you playing, CMBO ? If so, then that game can be run in a 'software rendering' mode that should get rid of some problems, but may slow the game graphics down a bit (and limit you to 640x480 resolution). Plus there are a number of graphical effects that aren't available with software rendering (high quality smoke/explosions, transparent buildings when occupied, etc.). 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
