Schrullenhaft
I'm not sure what recourse there is for you. The eBay copy is most likely from another distributor (including 1C itself) - which is an issue of copy-protection/DRM. Trying to update with a Battlefront patch may result in the request for a license key that you do not have. To my knowledge the language is compiled into the executable or linked in the DLLs or possibly in the SFS data files (I don't really know), so there's no easy solution to convert the language to English. You may want to check the installer to see if there is any language selection during install, but I doubt that there is. If you can determine the distributor (often the game will get installed in the '\Program Files' path that gives the distributor's name), you may want to contact them and see if there are any patches from them that would convert the language to English (I doubt that there is) and still work with whatever method of copy-protection/DRM is on your copy.
