bugwar
When I give an order to an infantry unit to construct an airfield some distance away from the current location of the soldier, the finance charges start immediately. Shouldn't the costs of construction start when the unit actually begins building the airfield, and not during the movement to the construction site? My current work around is to delay giving the order for airfield construction till the soldier arrives at the building site.
Brit
When I give an order to an infantry unit to construct an airfield some distance away from the current location of the soldier, the finance charges start immediately. My current work around is to delay giving the order for airfield construction till the soldier arrives at the building site. Okay, I took a look at this one. I tested this on a new game where the money-delta was +$10. I sent my infantry to build an airfield, and the money-delta changed to +$6. But, on the next turn (before my infantry had arrived at the construction site), my money had increased by $10. Once the infantry started building the airfield, then my money was increasing by $6 per turn. What seems to be happening is that the building-cost shows up immediately on the display. But, you don't actually spend any money until your unit starts building the airfield. This is a display glitch - but it's still a bug.
