John Kettler
Not sure how broadly applicable this is, but it's at least true for Time Warner Cable here in California. Thought all the CM:N enthusuasts would like to know! Regards, John Kettler
John Kettler
On the whole it was very good, marred by some spectacularly inappropriate stock footage: 15cm sIG33(Sf) auf Panzerkampfwagen I Ausf B and Panzer Is in Poland, Panzer IV D in France (pretty sure none remained by D-Day in Normandy, and they certainly weren't the core of the PDs by then), plus a few other howlers, including an 88 located, I believe, in the Western Desert and a Comet tank. German rockets were well represented with 15 cm Nebelwerfer in both trailered and Panzerwerfer 42 configurations and a Stuka zu Fuss. Saw lots of Panzer IV Hs, a few Panthers, mostly dead and no Tigers (may've missed last, as was intermittently head down), plus SdKfz 250 Neu, some new footage of 21 PD's Alkett conversions in action on Hill 112. British artillery included 5.5s wheels off the ground on recoil, and the rarely seen Sexton SP. Also good was some scary Crocodile footage with Andrew Wilson (wrote Flame Thrower) VO. Anyone wanting to know what Jabo attack was like would be well advised to watch the show, for it has terrific interviews with HJD Jabo attack recipients and spectacular gun camera sequences covering both strafing and rockets. Architecture grogs will want to take notes for mods, and the Ardenne Abbey massacre of the Canadians is chillingly detailed, walking the viewer the path the condemned took. Panzer Meyer's eyrie at the Abbey gave him an incredible overlook of the area. See this if you get the chance!
