James Cobb
I have Blitzkrieg, WaW and PDE. I migrated them to a new drive and now they won't start. No error message; just a blank screen. Please advise.
Moon
What do you mean with "migrate"? You cannot simply copy the games over, this won't work because of the eLicense system. You have to unlicense from the old one (if you don't want to use it anymore) and then install from scratch on the new PC. You also have to make sure to set them all to run with the option "Run as administrator" when you first launch them.
James Cobb
Understood. Thanks.
James Cobb
I bought the games again and downloaded them, unlicensed and uninstalled the old, intalled the new. I could launch the game from set up but not the short cuts or the exe. Please advise.
Moon
Hi James, there is no need to buy anything new. Why did you buy new games? Submit a ticket at www.battlefront.com/helpdesk and we will refund your purchases. Please note what I wrote above: You also have to make sure to set them all to run with the option "Run as administrator" when you first launch them. For more details about what on your PC may be blocking the games from running, please visit the Knowledgebase at www.battlefront.com/helpdesk.
James Cobb
Moon, I appreciate the offer but I did something dumb; I always pay for my mistakes. I got them to run using the Admin thing. Thanks.
Moon
Glad to hear that. If you don't want your money back, at least submit a ticket with your order number and we'll give you an in-store coupon for a future purchase!
