John Poggioli Posted January 17, 2010 Share Posted January 17, 2010 I had my hard drive wiped clean and windows re-installed and went from XP sp2 to XP sp3. Needless to say the tech did not unlicense my various Battlefront games, including SC Pacific Theater. When I re-intall the games, will I need to re-activate and will this reactivation count as the first or second computer ?? If it counts as the second, can I rectify this ?? Moon Posted January 17, 2010 Share Posted January 17, 2010 The answer is: it depends. eLicense sometimes is able to identify your PC even after a Windows reinstall. In that case, it may ask you to relicense, but it will assign the activation to the FIRST instance. If it is not able to recognize your PC anymore, then it will assign it to the second instance.
