Arrow Posted September 10, 2000 Share Posted September 10, 2000 Schrullenhaft, thanks for helping me nail down my lock up problem. Turns out that the problem is somewhere in either Nvidia cards or my AGP bus. So I took back the Nvidia card and got a Voodoo 5500 PCI and now everything runs great. I played CM for two and half hours yesterday with no problems and I played my other crash prone games for seven hours straight (I love days off). Not once did I have any problems (while the Nvidia card would lock up after 30 minutes). The 5500 also gives higher frame rates than the Geforce2 on my system, also.
