It’s a Regimental/Divisional level game of the Allied attempt to cut off the Germans in southern Italy in the winter of 1944. The scenario begins with an invasion that offers the Allied player an opportunity to gain a major victory by cutting off the north-south highway early in the campaign. But, if the Germans can contain the beachhead the battle will turn into a fight for Rome itself. I hope you all enjoy it. 1944 Anzio. carverrt Posted October 4, 2009 Author Share Posted October 4, 2009 Hi Canton, To place a land unit on the water first create a unit on a land tile, then right click, select move, place the unit on a sea tile. The Editor will then ask you if you want the land unit to go into transports or amphibs. To make the amphibs launch and attack at a specific spot, use the ‘amphibious.txt’ script and specify the #GOAL_POSITION= (the resource your unit will attack and try to capture once ashore) and the #COASTAL_POSITION= (the sea/beach title where you want the unit to land).
