aop
So I ordered this game for 9€ plus shipping costs and it finally arrived. I have been trying to get this game to work with 2 different computers with and without the Über patch. Both have been activated with same CD-key over eLicense. Computer 1: Athlon 64 X2 5000+ 2GB RAM GF9800GT Game crashes at beginning of loading screen, the bar progresses maybe 5% and then I'm back on the desktop. Tried turning off EAX, turning graphic options down, installed the Über patch etc. Computer 2: Intel C2D E7400 4GB RAM GTX260 Game crashes with sound loop after maybe 3 minutes of gameplay. Tried similar methods as in the first case with no luck. Conclusion: How the hell can you even sell this kind of buggy bull****!? You are ripping money from people with non-working product. I have never before ran on this bad working game and I have over 200GB of installed games on my harddrive. I'm never again going to buy any Battlefront games. Moon
Sorry to hear that you have problems getting the game to run. Most people don't. We are happy to assist you in finding out what your problem is. Please submit a ticket to www.battlefront.com/helpdesk.
aop
I have read the official troubleshooting faqs, I really doubt your helpdesk can do anything beyond that. It seems that on Tech Support forums others are having similar problems.
kreisi70
just read the support....... my video card is GF5500, and ToW works (omg), and battlefront rules.
aop
Hmmm... This game even installs background processes without asking user for permission. Seriously, this is going way too far, bug ridden game installing unauthorized back ground stuff... Uninstalled on both computers. How can I remove all stuff associated with eLicense? I have no idea where those files went during installation.
George40
I have loved the strategic command series from Battlefront having SC1 SC2 and WaW. I bought this game and had many crashes. Tried everything in the online support section. Still random lockups. I submitted a support ticket two weeks ago along with the log file requested. I got 1 follow-up email asking if it was a lockup or CTD. I repeated that it was system lockup. A week and a half later still no word. It is sad, when I had a registration key problem with SC2 the support was awsome. I have never had a tech issue before with a Battlefront game before, but it doesn't seem that tech support is resourced at a level to really provide support to the customers who have difficulty. It will make me more cautious about choosing Battlefront products outside the SC line again.

It's not installed without your permission - you agree to it by installing the game as per the End User License Agreement.

Tech support is usually carried out by several people, including the developer that has made the game. Response times therefore may vary. Easy things are handled by our regular stuff within 24 hours, more complex stuff may take longer to get a response from the core team. Having said that: have you already logged in online to the www.battlefront.com/helpdesk to check for a reply? The email may have bounced or been rejected by your server. If you don't hear back within 48 hours it's usually a good idea to check for your ticket status online. I bet the reply is sitting there for a week already. Right, that would obviously explain that you didn't see a reply from us I am sure Andrey will take care of this today or tomorrow.
