pute01
I recently upgraded my CPU to an AMD Phenom 4 core. I had to change motherboard and that pretty much meant I had to re-install windows, which I did. I had my CMSF marine 1.11 on another HD but had crashes and assumed it was because of installing windows after installing CMSF. I re-installed the CMSF but the problem didn’t go away, if anything it got worse. What happens is that I get a message which goes something like; CM.exe has encountered a problem and will shut down, or just cm has encountered….. And CM shuts down. Now this happens all the time. So I start to save a lot. But then the game starts to freeze during the save process. This happens about one time in three. I'm going mad. I had problems installing from my marines cd. I couldn't press install, I had to "open" the marines file on the cd and choose setup. This was the first time I installed from my cd. I have previously only installed from my download. I suppose this has nothing to do with my problems just thought I'd mention it. Oh and it's a campaign I'm trying to play. Perdition to be specific. Hope anyone can help. Cheers!

Wrath of Dagon
Uninstall 9.4 and install 9.3, as discussed here: http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?t=87121
Zatoichi
Yeah the last stable drivers for my ATI 4850 are the 9.3 as mentioned - I've played for hours with these drivers and not had a crash, whereas with 9.4 and 9.5 CMSF was crashing every few minutes. I hope ATI nail this problem in their 9.6 release...
