Razz1 Posted March 11, 2009 Share Posted March 11, 2009 I noticed while playing several games..... When I place my AA next to a city............ The allied aircaft will combat the AA but the city never gets a chance to shoot at the planes. Cities will always are bombed with either a hit or miss. I never once seen the city get a hit on an aircraft with an AA unit next to it. This makes me think that after the encounter with the AA the AI does't use the city's opportunity fire. arado234 Posted March 13, 2009 Share Posted March 13, 2009 Razz1 maybe im wrong but im sure that the city A.A. will fire(remember the attacking bombers dont always take losses from A.A) after the A.A.unit fires if bombers are bombing the actual city. Razz1 Posted March 13, 2009 Author Share Posted March 13, 2009 Yes, I know, but as yet have not seen a hit from a city when an AA gun is in an adjacent hex. Only hits from the AA gun its self.
