glogi Posted January 21, 2009 Share Posted January 21, 2009 I have this problem that every time I restart TOW is always clears all the settings and key mappings that I did last time :mad:. Running game as administrator didn't help. But save games stay and I can create profiles. My OS is Vista. Is there something I can do? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Sneaksie Posted January 22, 2009 Share Posted January 22, 2009 It's strange why save games are saved and key mappings don't. Check that *.ini files in users directory are not read-only. It seems to me that the game just doesn't write in to any of config files . At first I had a problem with resolution but I solved it with ToWSetup. Sneaksie Posted January 22, 2009 Share Posted January 22, 2009 Problem is with user rights in Vista, maybe something with permissions for users in your Vista installation. Madmatt Posted February 10, 2009 Share Posted February 10, 2009 Right click on the ToW shortcut when you go to play and select the "Run as Admin" option and see if that doesn't do the trick for you.
