Yskonyn Posted January 6, 2009 Share Posted January 6, 2009 Situation: re-installed CMSF + Marines from scratch. Updated to v1.11. Sounds plays ok for about a few seconds into the main menu and after that it cuts off, reverbs a lot and sounds garbled. This won't go away after loading a mission. Also a reboot of the pc won't help. CMSF had no sound issues before. I have had it uninstalled for quite a while and wanted to see if the new 1.11 patch would make it playable on my laptop. When I had it running pre-1.11 the performance was not good, but there haven't been sound issues. Any idea what might be causing the corrupt sound? Hardware: AMD Athlon 64 3200+, 512MB RAM, Xpress 200M vidcard with 128MB and motherboard Conexant soundcard. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It really puzzles me, but today I haven't had a single issue anymore with sound, yet I didn't change any settings...
