Falconander
Whether a scenario or QB, how do you choose what map to play? I think in the old days you had to say medium, night, attack, village, small etc... and hope that your map came up that fit the parameters. Is there any easier way? Sorry for the basic question but I have been toying with the WEGO method and wanted to test some maps. So a real basic walk through would be appreciated... Maybe best practices on saving a scenario for quick retrieval as well. So if I make a scenario and save it as a .qb (??) what is the easiest way to find and play this battle?
Flanker15
Well senarios are always played on one map which is built with the senario. If you want to play one map in QB, go to your CMSF directory and find the QB map folder. Copy all the maps out (don't lose them obviously!) then drop just the map you want to use in and run the QB. This metod worked for me. Then when you're done just put the maps back.
Echo
You cant in game. And swapping files like that is a PITA.
Paper Tiger
'Fraid not. The ability to choose the map you want to play on would make QB's much better IMO. I only have around half a dozen maps in my QB file at the moment and they're all mine except for a really nice city one that came with the game.
