Do Marine Units or Jap SNLF have longer life without supply

I am a little curious about when i do a amphib assault. Do marines or Jap SNLF have a slower degradation of their supply so we can actually take a city or main point. I seem to always have my units die or have non movement due to supply issues (they are at 0). Thanks

They will still need a HQ or resource for supply, so all opposed landings require proper planning and reconnaissance, with naval and carrier/air units in support to work.

But one good thing about the Marines and SNLF is that if your landing goes wrong then they have the potential to evacuate without using a port, something regular units don't have. I have managed this a few times, and occasionally got away with it!
