Sosaboski Posted June 27, 2000 Share Posted June 27, 2000 Okay, when I run the game from the CD and try to change the screen area, etc. (SKIP TO NEXT), a blue screen appears saying a "fatal exception 0E" has happened at 0028:C0005257 in VXD VMM (01)+00004257. Left4Dead Posted June 27, 2000 Share Posted June 27, 2000 My first question is, have you changed anything software or hardware-wise on your computer since it last worked? Have you rebooted? And tried everything again? VXD VMM is a virtual memory module related to your graphics driver, so I would guess that this "blue screen of death" has something to do with your graphics driver. If you know how, and you have the drivers handy, it might not be too hard to reinstall your video card's drivers and try to run it again.
