MikeyD Posted July 24, 2008 Share Posted July 24, 2008 The new type maps are exponentially more complex than an old CMx1 map (overlaying tree types onto brush onto terrain, etc. etc.). Plus the CMx2 AI isn't 'automatic'. Timed AI movement orders have to be physically painted onto the maps during scenario construction. So that makes doing usable computer-generated maps with computer-generated AI instructions a very iffy proposition. BFC might elect to instead use its limited programming resources (a.k.a.
