Dowarisch
Is it me or is it a huge pain in the A to create a realistic looking diagonal highway, I just can´t seem to get it right. Can someone please explain me in dummy-speech which tiles to use.
KiloAlpha4
use the angled tiles/pieces although they don't always show properly in 3d view as the joints between angled and straight sections hardly ever line up properly.
rune
Kilo, Look through the straight tiles, some have a little angle piece on them that fill in that spot. Best way to tell is put them down and zoom the map in all the way. You can avoid what you see. Rune
Dowarisch
Having similar issues as Kilo. Im currently making a scenario of a town near a diagonal highway with 2 exits. But so far I either get pieces with the wrong texture or weird angled stuff. Another thing I want to create are realistic looking huge blast craters in middle of a road (but that for later). Dowarisch
You mixing paved road and highway tiles to do that ?
Cpl Steiner
Dowarisch, No, just used paved road for all the tiles. However, you can make a kind of highway using just these if you put them next to each other. Here's a busy junction on a 4-lane highway: I don't think that traffic light setup is quite right but you get the idea. Dowarisch
With the paved road tiles I had less issues than with the Highway tiles. Anyway, thanks for the help m8.
