However since 3dfx went out of business there aren't any truly new drivers for it (newer drivers you may see on some sites are usually hacks to mix up the files for better performance, etc. - I don't think any of them really fix problems/bugs). You may experience some problems where the textures go white or other funky colors. You may have to limit your resolution to 1024 x 768 or less and not load up on too many high-res texture mods. However you may still experience some problems on occasion and there's no guarantee that the drivers will work with newer versions of DirectX (though CM won't absolutely need a version above 7.1). Something that will be a better investment (in terms of longevity and driver updates) would be an older TNT2/GeForce2/GeForce2MX400. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
