incarna2k7 Posted July 28, 2007 Share Posted July 28, 2007 I downloaded, installed, and when I double click the desktop shortcut I get the error "Application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on ok to terminate the application." I click ok and the same box pops up again, another click and I'm back to the desktop. I haven't been able to enter my license or anything. Moon Posted July 28, 2007 Share Posted July 28, 2007 Yes, please check the Troubleshooting Thread on top of the forum. This happens due to DEP (Data Execution Prevention) not being supported properly. A number of possible fixes is mention in the Thread I believe. What's important is to make sure that you call up the DEP window and click OK at least once even if all seems to be set correctly by default.
