Han
In the testing of a map I'm working on (Cagny/Goodwood) I ran into the following. I ran a game with a couple of Pak43's and a few dozen Shermans on the opposite side. The Paks had a field day but eventually succumbed to a flood of tankers doubling as infantry. I noticed that from the 15 or so tanks littering the fields only one or two brewed up. All the others had a neat hole in them, but didn't burn. Is there any way to increase the likeliness of some tanks (especially Shermans) brewing up?
Miguel B.
Yeah I'd also like to see the Tommy cookers or Ronson lighters living up to their name Cheers...
MG TOW
I think there are different algorithms for different tanks. For some reasons panthers always flame out slowly. I had a panther showing a damaged engine compartment and a minute later poof a little flame came out while the tank was still operating. Then it built in intensity and the crew bailed one at a time. Pretty cool but only on the panther from what I seen.
Han
I suppose the chance that a tank brews up is hardcoded than?
SlapHappy
Actually it has to with hits on ammo storage or engine. This is actually modelled in the game. Hit resolution is actually not one of the weaker points of the game.......
