MSP1978 Posted January 9, 2008 Share Posted January 9, 2008 Hello all, i have the german version of the game by Kalypso (1.7....) and a Geforce 7900GS Graphic-card in my system running under Windows Vista with driver-version 169.28 The game itself is running fine without any problems, only the textures for thy sky and the the trees are not shown. I've tried all hints and tricks i found in this forum, but nothing helped me to fix this problem. Earlier drivers than the above result in the same problems. Sneaksie Posted January 9, 2008 Share Posted January 9, 2008 Are you sure you have 169.28 drivers? There are only 169.25 latest drivers on Nvidia site and they are beta. Because Dell offers no actual drivers for vista for this video card, i have to use this ones. For example, try running the 'Steel Torrent' single mission, and if there are graphical artefacts, post screenshots from this mission too. At the moment i've played some missions, some with rain, some with normal weather, and in all missions this happens. In other games i have not seen such artifacts and i am playing games some years old and new ones in a nice mixture (Dungeon Keeper 2, World in Conflict, C&C3, WipeOut2097, Fifa 2008 etc) and in no game there are this texture-problems. I found the latest drivers 171.16 from laptopvideo2go.com and they solved the problem for me.
