I think it would be helpful if some kind soul could write down clear and unambigouous instructions as to how to install a new or modified mission. I say this because I tried to install a modification to the infamous Defence tutorial and while carefully removing the existing xlp file and replacing it with the modified one I managed to get Victory without a move. dmg Posted May 14, 2007 Share Posted May 14, 2007 By the way, copying and distributing modified mission.xml is not enough. mission.xml contains only units coordinates and their parameters. If you want the modified mission to work properly, you need to copy trigger.ini file (that contains script) and ambient.xml file (that contains ambient sounds info) as well. Mastiff Posted May 14, 2007 Share Posted May 14, 2007 thats why I have been trying to get poeple to make a folder with the name of the mission and then ZIP it up jeez you would think they would know that the zipping file does'nt make it for you.
