Jippo
"Wrong game version. The application will not work with current version of a game Theatre of War" AMD X2 4200, ATI 800 GTO, 2,5Gb DDr, Vista 64bit Home Premium. Vista is newly installed, all the drivers are up to date & game is running fine except for the editor. Ideas?
dmg
Unfortunately, currently Vista64 is not supported by MissionEditor (see system requirements at https://www.combatmission2.com/tow_order.html ). If you want to use MissionEditor, try to install Vista32 or Windows XP. If the error is still thrown, check the tips at http://www.battlefront.com/products/tow/troubleshooting.html#editor_not_launching [ May 10, 2007, 08:16 AM: Message edited by: dmg ]
Jippo
Ah, it's ok then. I will just use missions by others.
Gunslingr3
When I try to start the mission editor I get this error: this message pops twice then the Campaign Editor windows loads before I get this error: I have the latest drivers for my Geforce 7600GS and I installed the lastest directx9 package from MS (4.09.00000904) dxdiag tests run fine. dmg
Gunslingr3, What is your OS? Try to reinstall DirectX 9 (see the links at http://www.battlefront.com/products/tow/troubleshooting.html#dx_netframe ) Though it is the latest, it might not contain some libraries for .NET.
