When I try to launch the full game, I get the hour glass for a second or two, then nothing. I tried then launching the config utility, and I get the above error message. MadMatt: I saw you ask someone else with this problem if the LicCtrl service was running, and the answer in my case is no. system: Windows XP service pack 2 3.2ghz proc (Quad-Core QX6700) 2Gb OCZ ram 1 Terabyte total HD space 1Kw Powersupply Two GeForce 7900 GS in SLI SoundBlaster X-Fi running 1680 X 1050 on 22" Samsung Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Von Fauster Posted April 20, 2007 Author Share Posted April 20, 2007 Joy! I think I found/fixed the problem: I turned off my AVG virus control and turned off the firewall.
