oho
how do you move forward with a scouting tank until he sees the defenses and then move backwards. Are there any tricks for using the first person view like a tank comander? Seaksie: can you adress that at the devs. just a retreat order instead of moving the view backward and clicking on the ground.
Stoppelhopser
Have you tried any of the hot keys? I think "F" is the one for retreat.
Sneaksie
You can advance with short movements, this way you'll have fair chances to retreat in time, because of reduced time of halting and changing to rear gear. Also, driver experience especially matters in case of such sharp movement redirections.
oho
thanks for the answers! Yes, i use the hot keys, but would like to have a command that combines the revert comand together with a move comand of lets say 10 meters just backward. It simulates the comand move backwards of the tank commander. That would add a lot to the emergence. I love to be in the "enter" position in a tank (or also a infantry soldier) and trying to scout the enemy lines. Please take that into consideration. Stoppelhopser
I see oho. Interesting idea. I'd love to use fpv more but tend to loose oversight that way.
