I hate to send my veteran units into certain death even though I know I can not archive the mission objectives. I also hate to play missions over and over again. After a retreat it should still be possible to proceed in the campaign. For me this small feature would be number one on my patch wish list! As soon as you restart a mission you know the placement of the enemy units etc. For me replaying the same missions over and over again kills the gameplay.
