felica Posted September 3, 2006 Share Posted September 3, 2006 Hello, from the other thread, someone mentioned patch 1.3 is out but I can't seem to find it on ftp.battlefront.com. Anyway, does this patch fix the fast keyboard input bugs? Whenever i type something repeatly too fast, the game just closes by itself.. for example, voting yourself as a commander. and repeatly pressing Y..causes the game to disappear. no crash message or anything... thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ClaytoniousRex Posted September 3, 2006 Share Posted September 3, 2006 To get the latest version, run the updater. If you're on Windows, go to Start/Programs/Battlefront/DropTeam/Game Updater. If you're on Mac OS X, then there is an Update icon in the same folder as your DropTeam icon - double click it to update. Once you've updated, let us know if you're still having this problem. When i host a game, then i attempt to vote a commander.. then the game closes by itself.. when i checked the logs.. i notice that there are multiple lines of VOTE: Sending cast vote = 1 to felica. more than 100 lines or so at one go..maybe there is a infinite loop somewhere..
