For quite awhile everybody's been beating the 'no more Borg spotting' drum for CMx2. I think CMSF's 'relative spotting' solution is going to include a strict chain of command (harder for Company A unit to tell Company B units what's going on). That might mean rearranging units might turn out to be harder, not easier.

But we're talking all sorts of unit types. U.S. chain of command, Syrian Army chain of command, Special forces for each side, insurgent forces. I recall for CMBB Russian 'Partisans' any unit that was within earshot of any officer was considered under his command!
