John Kettler Posted September 23, 2006 Share Posted September 23, 2006 While waiting to get a haircut today, I chanced across the September 4, 2006 issue of U.S. NEWS & WORLD REPORT whose cover feature is all about Iraq and efforts to stabilize it by regaining real control of Baghdad. The cover shot is a close-in pic of a GI in firing position armed with an M-4?/grenade launcher combo with laser sight, lots of stuff on his chest, helmet and mike near his mouth. I thought the picture was particularly useful for getting the right grubby bashed about a bit look for equipment in the field.
