I have a similar system, except a GeForce 7300 and moderately faster CPU and RAM etc. Game runs fine. The Vista problems seem to be restricted to ATI cards and to be based on the ATI drivers involved (which correlates with Vista only because it comes with their most recent ones installed). So I would not expect any problems with a Geforce card.

Download the demo and try it - easy.
