mPisi Posted October 23, 2007 Share Posted October 23, 2007 Just wondering if this was modeled, seems not. A quick google shows 40mm HE or HEDP from Mk19 has an 18m arming range. This screenshot shows Syrians being wiped out at very close range. One grenade was shown exploding under the leftmost infantryman, among many others landing in the main group which I put at max 10m. Not to mention the Stryker firing through it's own bodywork. The screenshot shows another graphical difficulty... At the risk of bringing up a quibble on the level of European birdsong, as a traffic engineer I am forced to point out that Syrian roads are not likely to have a double solid yellow centerline and white edge stripes. Especially ones this small (and in rural areas - different graphics sets for city and rural should be on a wishlist somewhere). I can find only one Syria picture on the first five pages of Google Images "syria road" that has stripes of any kind. Even HEAT rounds have a minimum range but I have seen M1's engage with HEAT from within a couple meters.
