John O'Reilly
Hi folks, Just started playing CMSF which I am enjoying. I just finished playing the Al Fubar battle and by game end as Uncons I had no ammunition left - is there no way of picking up weaponry/ammo from fallen enemy? If a unit has no ammo listed can it be effective in "close combat"? I would love to see a replay feature - I knocked out all but two Strykers but I wish I knew how! Failing that could we please see a kills list for each unit? Given the sophisticated engine now being used how difficult would this be? Thanks for all responses
birdstrike
Soldiers will pickup heavy weapons like RPGs from friendly fallen units automatically, but there is no way to tell them to do it. Neither will they pick up ammunition. They have to get by with what they have, I fear. The replay feature is something which is not currently implemented in RT, but it is on the wishlist. The main problem would be the enormous amount of data stored for the replay. Just look at the size of a single PBEM turn file. But Steve noted that a small (10sec) replay option might get implemented sometime in the future.
