Gen. Lee Annoying
Is it just me or do the tank treads work opposite the way they should? Oh by the way I finally got the money together and bought a copy.... great work guys.... keep it up
tankibanki
No, at least in my copy they work the right way. Unless you drive too fast, but you get the same effect when you watch fast moving wheels on TV.
Gen. Lee Annoying
nope when I turn the tracks deffinetly go the wrong way it's a bit of an emersion killer.....lol
tankibanki
I was just talking about driving straight. Haven't paid attention to the tracks when turning, but I haven't noticed anything unusual. Does it just look wrong when you turn? I'll check in the next mission.
Gen. Lee Annoying
nope all the time just more noticable turning and at low speed where the before mentioned frequency optical illusion would become apparent
Gen. Lee Annoying
ok just did a check the treads work ok for stationary turns but in a moving turn the outside track stops even when the afv is still moving forward while the inside track reverses...... I know I'm just being picky but I thought I should point it out......
Taras
On what vehicle? I checked out the tracks on an Apollo KC-H, and they looked right to me. In a moving turn, the driver applies the brake to the inside track etc... Now having the road wheels not turn as they roll over the tracks, that kind of bugs me
