Stefan Hundhammer Posted August 4, 2005 Share Posted August 4, 2005 I don't seem to be able to hit a barn door with the coax MG of any of the tanks. All I ever manage to do is trial and error - walk the tracers to the target. I tried using the "P" ammo type and the laser range finder as well as manual mode - no difference. How is the coax scale in the gunsight supposed to work? What do I use as the aiming reference? Is the coax also slightly offset to the left or to the right as it used to be in Panzer Elite? Moon Posted August 4, 2005 Share Posted August 4, 2005 When you select P as your ammo and with the fire control computer on (S key) right-click to lase the range, then the coax will fire pretty much right in the middle of the reticle. Diesel Posted August 4, 2005 Share Posted August 4, 2005 I don't know how it works in the game, but IRL you would set the sight range to zero meters and follow the tracers at short ranges. For longer ranges you would first lase the target to get the accurate distance, then set sight range to 0m and use the approriate range marker on the coax MG scale, starting from 0.5(50m) all the way up to 18(1800m). 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
