Does the full game feel like a front line?

OK Guys, I am talkin numbers here?

How many tanks and infantry and support vehicles are in the game at once.

Do you get to take part in major tank offensives ala cold war? Or is an all backwater, low key indi hero affair?

I am talking Falcon 4.0 immersion here

Destraex, the amount of units involved goes up as you progress through the campaign. In some of the final missions you'll have a platoon of tanks and infantry vs. two enemy platoons of tanks plus a company of infantry or something like that. In the single player missions, the amount of units involved depends solely on what the designer wants to put it, and your hardware is able to handle. Company sized engagements are quite doable. I think that you'd reach some sort of pratical limit when you go beyond 2 companies.

So thats about 4 tanks (a platoon) on one side plus support and 8 on the other plus support.

A company would be approx 12 tanks. THat would be quite enough for me if the enemy had two tank companies plus support

I don't have any pics of it.. The most i can remember fighting was.. lets see.. 2 Leos, 2 T-72s, 2 AT lauchers, 1 t-55.. I think thats the most I've had to fight.. You also had.. I think it was 2 friendly t-72s.. This was the rescue mission one..
