snakeeyes Posted July 12, 2005 Share Posted July 12, 2005 Hey guys... I forget the official name for the campaign mission so let's just call it the Valley Attack mission. It's the one where you escort some Serbian infantry over the crestline and have to destroy crotatian defenses. Anyone have a strategy to beat it? I can't get close enough to view and shoot targetsand I always get toasted by RPGs. The RPG range is rediculous. Moon Posted July 13, 2005 Share Posted July 13, 2005 [*spoiler*] If this is the mission I think of (third or fourth campaign mission, bad weather?), then the long range could be explained by the fact that the RPG guys are coming over the hill to your left. They're above you and shooting down. It took me a lot of retries to get the mission done, too. What I found to work best is to move up that hill after joining with your forces instead of following them down into the hill. That way you'll take the RPG guys head on. Use the TC's machinegun to spot for the little buggers - not easy in the high grass. After you get rid of them, advance south-east down the crest, but slowly, and be aware of the anti-tank guns up ahead. Sometimes your guys will manage to take out some, sometimes not.
